The city of Coronado is a small beach community surrounded by San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean. While people often think of it as an island, it is connected to land by the Silver Strand. The community is definitely geared towards tourism, or for a San Diegan ‘stay-cation’. It is the perfect spot to participate in many outdoor activities, dine, shop, or take in a play. In the summer, enjoy the concerts in the park on Sundays, and of course the Fourth of July parade and fireworks.  One of the most famous landmarks is the Hotel Del Coronado, a beautiful place to visit, all year round, but especially during the holidays. Coronado is a magical village with something for everyone to enjoy!
